“Our customers expect the same standards and quality everywhere, all the time. That’s our promise,” says Suriati Cevallos, Morgan’s Director, Quality, Compliance and Sustainability.

So, Cevallos applies the same rigorous standards and auditing processes to every Morgan location, whether it’s in Guadalajara or Guangdong. Every driver and warehouse worker follows the same operating processes, uses the same visibility technology and passes the same regular reviews to ISO-9001 specifications.

That same requirement drives Security Director Bill Morgan’s mission. “People focus security on U.S. ports,” he says. “In reality, some of the biggest threats come from far beyond our borders.”

“For instance, many times a transportation provider will sell door-to-door service, but they’ll broker out the overseas pickup. These local drivers aren’t background checked. Their warehouses don’t have Western security standards. And, their trucks aren’t sealed and monitored the same as in the U.S.”

Morgan has ensured that all offices worldwide meet the standards of the U.S. government’s Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and such industry-specific standards as the high-tech industry’s Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA).

Morgan’s clients can be sure that their goods are never out of sight or control, and they know that they’re being moved safely and securely from all endpoints of the supply chain.
