Greetings from David

Dear Valued Customer,

You may have noticed a slight change to Morgan's corporate branding in 2007. The familiar blue Morgan ball is still there, of course. But, we've updated the type style and adopted a new tag line: Supply On Demand.

When you think about it, achieving Supply On Demand is the fundamental challenge of global manufacturing. And, Morgan has made it's name in this business--coordinating the critical processes in manufacturing and reverse logistics, and optimizing distribution and fulfillment efficiencies.

A year ago, I told you about the five inventories of supply: raw materials, work in process, finished goods, service inventory and in-transit goods. Then, I made the point that if you can't see and manage all five stocks in real time, you can't fully control your company's operations.

Take manufacturing logistics: Morgan works with several Fortune 100 clients to coordinate movement of goods from factory to factory. By ensuring that materials arrive on-time, just in time, we keep production lines running lean responsively. Our online, real-time information systems add flexibility, so that managers can make tactical changes to respond to changing demand.

It's the same in reverse logistics, where we were named as one of Aberdeen Group's 2006 Best Practices In International Logistics for our work managing spare parts and returns for Ericsson. Likewise, too, in fulfillment operations, where our new 30,000 square foot San Jose facility helps Silicon Valley manufacturers manage global distribution.

Supply On Demand is the next great challenge for manufacturing. If you need help making the supply curve hit the demand curve at exactly the right point, give us a call. I would be glad to discuss our current case studies and learn how we might assist you.
